Assignment 2.2 - Personal Learning Objectives

I have kind of shied away from using technology/exposing my students to artists who work with technology in my prior teaching, simply because my training and interest lies in more traditional media. After looking at the work of Stephanie Dinkins, I realized I wanted to learn more about how contemporary artists can employ technology and AI to explore sociopolitical issues. I also want to learn different processes of making through various media that I am heretofore unfamiliar with. 

Learning Objectives: 

1. Get more familiar with programs like Procreate, so that I can feel comfortable guiding future students with them.

2. Build a visual and technical vocabulary so I can effectively teach new media in the future. 

3. Make work that meets the moment.
